Donzell,

On behalf of Camelback Ranch I want to thank you for hosting the first Extreme Baseball Showcase at our facility.  We were impressed with the event and your attention to the athletes and their parents.  The extra steps you took to produce a first-class showcase were very evident.

I look forward to debriefing with you and working together on many more events going forward.

Extreme Baseball's Pro Camp

January 14-16, 2012
Youngker High School - Buckeye, AZ
Ages 13 and Up
Thank you for your consideration in participating in Extreme Baseball’s Pro Baseball Camp, presented by Extreme Baseball’s coaching staff, instructors from the Texas Rangers, Milwaukee Brewers, Kansas City Royals organizations and varies college coaches.  EXB’s Pro Camp is designed to assist high school baseball players in taking their skill sets to the next level; not only through instruction focused on the physical tools, but an equal emphasis on building the player’s acumen for the game itself.  Through individual instruction, small group training, and focused development, the knowledge and experience of our team of instructors will be passed along to the next generation of baseball players.
EXB Pro Camp
Instructors:
Leading the way is Donzell McDonald, EXB’s Director of Operations, and current Texas Rangers Hitting Coach.  Donzell was a 1995 draft pick of the New York Yankees, and enjoyed 16 years of professional baseball, including time with the Yankees, Royals, Indians, and Braves.
*If a player owns their own batting helmet, it is recommended they bring it (only a limited amount of helmets will be available).
"Repetitions help to improve and perfect; they make movements and execution of an action routine.  It is extremely important for repetitions to be done correctly.  Repetition also develops self-discipline and persistence, which in turn improve concentration level.  Through repetition players learn to do mechanical exercises routinely, without needing to think about each step along the way.  Being automatic, or routine, frees the mind and body and allows players to play their best."
Youngker's baseball facility is equipped with 2 manicured baseball fields, 6 hitting tunnels, and 8 pitching mounds.
"Most baseball skills must be methodically practiced before the body is able to react freely and without conscious thought to each part of the activity.  This is muscle memory.  Mental toughness and concentration are also necessary.  Learning the proper techniques and methods and then repeating them correctly form the avenue toward success."
